The Ministry of Energy announced that an additional APVA call for energy storage devices will be announced on November 11, 2025. It will be intended for residents who have already installed an electricity storage device but did not have time to submit an application in the August 19 call. The measure is allocated EUR 7.8 million.
Who will be able to apply?
Applications will be able to submit only those residents who have installed a storage device and applied to AB Energijos skirstymo operatorius (ESO) for the renewal of the ownership boundary acts of the installed electricity storage devices by September 22, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.
This means that the additional APVA call for storage devices applies to those who have already installed the equipment and have ESO documents.
Support amount:
The amount of support is EUR 379 per 1 kWh of lithium iron phosphate and EUR 313 per 1 kWh of lithium-ion storage capacity. A maximum of 15 kWh of storage capacity is compensated for one electricity consumption facility.
It is planned that this will be the last call in 2025. Support is expected next year, but the intensities may change depending on market conditions.
Key information:
- Beneficiaries: natural persons.
- Capacity: storage tanks up to 15 kWh.
- Prerequisite: installed equipment and an updated property boundary act by ESO by 2025-09-22 08:30.
How to prepare for the call?
Check compliance (do you have an updated act by ESO by the specified deadline).
Prepare documentsand follow the announcement of the call.
And if you are still choosing equipment for future calls - choose storage tanks suitable for APVA support calls (the models offered by Pinus LT meet the requirements set by APVA).
Another news: solar power plant + storage tank
Also in November, a new pilot measure is planned to be announced for residents who want to install a solar power plant (≥5 kW) with a storage tank (≥10 kWh) and a maximum of 1 kW of power allowed to be generated into the grid (budget €5.4 million).
