Get financing for a solar power plant with a storage tank: APVA support has been extended until January 30, 2026, until all funds allocated to the call are used up. The remaining budget currently amounts to just over 2 million euros.
This support is intended for residents who cannot generate more than 1 kW of power due to network restrictions. By installing a 5 kW solar power plant and a 10 kWh electricity storage tank, most of the generated electricity will be consumed on site or stored in batteries, and only a small part will be transmitted to the distribution network. The call is especially relevant for those who are already facing load restrictions on the ESO network or long waiting lines.
Important to know:
- APVA support for a solar power plant with a storage tank applies only to the complete set - the solar power plant or the storage tank alone are not financed separately.
- When installing a 5 kW solar power plant and a 10 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) storage tank, the compensation amounts to 5,012 euros, and when choosing a lithium-ion technology storage tank – 4,572 euros. The equipment must be installed no earlier than 1 September 2025, so when planning the project, it is worth carefully checking the dates of invoices and delivery certificates.
The uniqueness of this call is the simplified procedure for connecting a 5 kW solar power plant. ESO has prepared standard connection conditions, so the applicant does not need to additionally apply for the issuance of separate conditions – it is enough to comply with the published requirements. Simplified procedures allow for a faster transition from the project idea to implementation.
The call is carried out on a one-stage principle: APVA support for a solar power plant with a storage tank is not reserved in advance. The application and payment request are submitted only when the system is already fully installed and the resident has become a producing consumer.
For those planning to invest, it is worth considering which energy storage devices for homes meet the requirements of this measure. Pinus LT offers both lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) and lithium-ion technology solutions - from modules that can be expanded to integrated systems with an inverter. Energy storage devices for homes meet the conditions of APVA support. During the consultation, we help you select the right storage device based on capacity, technology and expected system power.
If you are considering a solar power plant and storage device, now is the right time to plan. Pinus LT will assess your household consumption profile, select solar modules, inverter and storage devices suitable for APVA support, and if necessary, help you prepare information for the application. Investing in a solar power plant with an energy storage device is a step towards a more sustainable life.
