Planned APVA support for solar power plants for individuals in 2026. The Environmental Project Management Agency (APVA) has announced details of the upcoming 2026 call for applications for individuals interested in installing a new solar power plant on their property. This call will be relevant to residents who are just planning to become net-metering consumers and install a new, previously undeclared solar power plant.
The total budget for the call is € 13 million. The grant will be awarded for up to 7 kW of installed solar power plant capacity assigned to a specific electricity consumption facility.
Two possible grant amounts are provided for:
- €169.96 including VAT per 1 kW, when at least one main component of the solar power plant is manufactured in China, or the energy efficiency of the solar module is less than 23%.
- €220.97 including VAT per 1 kW, when none of the main components are manufactured in China and the solar module’s energy efficiency is at least 23%.
Only residents who have installed a new solar power plant (without increasing the installed capacity of an existing plant) and have become net-metering consumers as of February 1, 2022, will be eligible for the grant. When submitting the application, the project must be completed, i.e., the solar power plant must be installed and ready for use in the household.
Applications may only be submitted once the solar power plant has been installed, is ready for use, and all necessary documents have been prepared. One of the most important documents is the updated Act on the Boundaries of Electricity Network Ownership issued by ESO. If this document is not yet available at the time of application, the application may be rejected without the possibility of correction. Therefore, it is best to check in advance whether you have all the necessary documents
Those planning to apply for support should assess in advance the capacity of the solar power plant, the efficiency of the selected modules, their country of origin, and the process of preparing all documents. This will help you avoid mistakes and properly prepare for submitting your application in the APVIS system.
PINUS LT will help you choose the solar power plant solution best suited for your household, assess the required capacity, and select compatible components. If you are considering a new solar power plant, take a look at our solar power plant sets or contact us — we will help you prepare for the decision even before the call for proposals begins.
You can find more information about the terms of the call for proposals on the APVA website.
