The Ministry of Energy informs that the updated financing conditions have come into force for residents who want to install solar power plants for household needs, increase the installed capacity of previously installed solar power plants or purchase solar power plants from remote solar power parks.
Grants from remote solar power parks will be allocated 15 million euros, and for the installation of solar power plants on the roofs of residential buildings - over 35 million euros. Calls for proposals to residents are planned to be published at the end of February
Grants under the approved financing conditions will be financed from the funds of the Economic Recovery and Resilience Instrument, therefore, compared to previous calls, two fundamental differences are expected. The first is that calls will not be divided by region. The second - the grant will be paid for the resident's expenses without value added tax, but the aim will be to maintain the same nominal grant amount as before: ~255 EUR per 1 kWh of installed capacity of a new solar power plant, ~191 EUR per 1 kWh of installed capacity of an increased (previously installed) solar power plant and ~323 EUR per 1 kWh of installed capacity of a solar power plant from remote parks.
Residents are encouraged to assess whether they will also want to install electricity storage systems in the future and immediately choose a suitable hybrid inverter.
The VAT invoice, equipment acceptance and transfer act, contractor's declaration and property boundary act must be issued no earlier than 2022. February 1. and no later than the date of submission of the application and payment request. These documents – after their submission – will not be able to be corrected or submitted later, therefore residents are invited to first make sure that they have all the necessary documents and only then submit applications and payment requests.
As before, grants are awarded up to 10 kW of installed capacity of solar power plants for each eligible electricity consumption object – a residential house or apartment, or a garden house. From this number, the installed capacity that was previously installed or purchased from remote parks with a grant is deducted
